Arabella Yellow Swimsuit

Here I am, soaking up the sun again, this time in a vibrant yellow one-piece possibly inspired by the one Krissy wore in a previous post. The deep V-neck and flattering fit make me feel confident and carefree, especially with the pool sparkling and inviting right beside me.

There is something about this shade of yellow that makes everything feel lighter and more fun. Whether I’m relaxing in the chair like this or catching the light just right, yellow always turns an ordinary afternoon into something special. I can't get enough of these swimsuit days, can you?

Yellow has quickly become one of my favorite colors this summer. It’s so bold, cheerful, and full of energy — the kind of hue that instantly lifts your mood the moment you put it on. This one-piece swimsuit hugs in all the right places while still feeling comfortable enough to move around in. The deep V-neck adds a touch of elegance and confidence, and the bright color makes my skin glow under the sunlight. I felt beautiful, playful, and completely at ease the second I slipped into it.

I’ve always loved how a good swimsuit can completely change how you feel about your body and your day. This yellow one-piece reminded me of Krissy’s bright yellow swimsuit post — that same joyful, vibrant energy. Seeing her rock that look inspired me to try something similar, and I’m so glad I did. There’s something empowering about matching energy with a friend through fashion, even if it’s just through photos.

I spent a long time lounging by the pool today, alternating between relaxing in the chair and dipping my toes in the cool water. The sunlight reflecting off the pool created these beautiful sparkling patterns across my skin and the yellow fabric. Every time I shifted position, the light hit differently, making the whole moment feel magical. These are the kinds of simple afternoons I live for — no big plans, just sunshine, water, and a swimsuit that makes me feel good in my own skin.

There’s a special kind of freedom that comes with swimsuit days. You’re not hiding behind layers of clothing. You’re fully present with your body and the sensations around you — the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze, the gentle sound of water. This yellow swimsuit helped me embrace that feeling completely. It made me want to smile bigger, laugh louder, and just enjoy being alive on a beautiful day.

I’ve noticed that wearing bright colors like this has a real effect on my mindset. Yellow feels optimistic. It feels like saying “yes” to joy and “yes” to the present moment. Even on days when I wake up feeling a little low, putting on something this vibrant can shift my entire perspective. It’s like wearing a little ray of sunshine.

These poolside moments have become my favorite form of self-care lately. There’s no pressure to be productive. No emails or responsibilities pulling at me. Just me, the water, and the golden light. I hope this photo brings a little bit of that warm, carefree energy into your day too — wherever you are right now.

Whether you have access to a pool, a beach, or just a sunny spot in your backyard, I encourage you to create your own version of this moment. Put on your favorite swimsuit (or even just shorts and a tank top), step outside, and let the sun kiss your skin for a while. You deserve these little pockets of joy.

So tell me… what’s your favorite color to wear in the summer? Do you have a “happy color” that instantly boosts your mood like yellow does for me? Or maybe you have your own go-to swimsuit that makes you feel unstoppable?

Drop your answers in the comments! I love hearing what makes you feel bright and confident. Your stories always make my day better.

Here’s to more swimsuit days, more golden afternoons, and more moments where we let ourselves feel carefree and beautiful exactly as we are.

Thank you for sharing these sunny moments with me.
