Hello, I am Izzy, and this is the real me here in the picture. The other pictures you see on here are also the real me, but just a different facet from a different angle on a different day. I like to put on dark colored make up and dress in black clothes to the point that some would call me a 'Goth Chick'. While the label does fit, it does not truly capture my essence so I try to avoid using it myself, but sometimes it's just easier to go with it than try to explain it.

I know Ara through her older brother, we were in college together. After bumping into Ara at the bakery where she works, we got chatting she asked if I could be a part of her project to highlight her photography. She told me she was looking to alter the perceptions and accepted norms in modern imagery, kind of like the Dove commercials using all manner of body diversity. It sounded very grandiose and of course, being a social outcast due to my fashion choices I said yes.

I deliberately chose to wear some normie clothes for this introduction because I think it’s good for you to know who I am and not just who I am perceived to be. I don’t wear a mask of make up to hide myself from the outside world, it is not a fad or a rebellious phase (mom), it is an expression of my personality.

I do enjoy the reactions of people when they see me, but I don't do it just for that. It's a bonus when a grown man stares, not sure if he should desire me or fear me. Hint - you can do both😉
