A very different thing from my usual pastel, girly, cozy vibe.
I’ve been obsessed with my friend Izzy’s dark, edgy, completely badass goth/alt style for months now. Every time she posts a new look I find myself staring at it thinking, “Could I ever pull that off?” So this weekend I decided to stop wondering and actually try it. I dove headfirst into the dark side… and honestly? I kind of loved it.

"What are you wearing right now?" has to be the cheesiest request to get naughty in a chat window ever. The question is so loaded, and if I’m not in the mood but don’t want to shut him down entirely, I go for the black granny panties and grey hoodie answer to try to cool his jets a little. I figured I would try on that look to see how much of a turn-off it would actually be. What do you think? Naughty chat situation averted, right?

Good mornings look a little different when I wake up feeling playful. I unpacked this cozy green snowflake pajama set from my winter drawer just to share with you — it’s super soft, perfectly oversized, and just the right amount of cute and warm. I couldn’t resist puckering up for a quick mirror selfie, phone in hand, blowing a kiss to the day ahead while the warm bathroom light caught every detail. Now it’s going back in the drawer until the nights turn chilly again.

After a day of channeling my inner goth queen — dark lips, smoky eyes, leather, and lace — I finally stepped into the shower and let the hot water do its magic. Watching the heavy makeup melt away under the steady stream felt incredible. I tilted my head back, ran my fingers through my soaking wet hair, and just breathed as every trace of the photoshoot swirled down the drain. The steam, the warmth, and that clean-slate feeling were exactly what I needed.

Here I am, soaking up the sun again, this time in a vibrant yellow one-piece possibly inspired by the one Krissy wore in a previous post. The deep V-neck and flattering fit make me feel confident and carefree, especially with the pool sparkling and inviting right beside me.

Can you tell that this selfie was 100% spontaneous? I was just soaking in the bubbles with the candles glowing when the mood suddenly struck — I grabbed my phone, stuck out my tongue, and snapped this silly shot with a wink. No planning, no setup, just pure impulse in the middle of a relaxing soak. If I had planned it, I would have had a sexy smile instead of trying to make a 😜 face.

This is Izzy, and yes — the colorful rainbow pup on a leash is 100% hers. While the black leather corset, delicate lace, fishnets, and heavy platform boots give off serious dark energy, we couldn’t help but bring her bright little companion along for the ride. There’s something so fun about the contrast: the edgy, powerful silhouette paired with a playful burst of color and personality. It’s my favorite kind of balance.

Good mornings look a little like this — soft bathroom light, a fresh face, and that easy smile that comes when you’re still in your coziest tank and shorts. Standing on the warm, sun-kissed sand with the turquoise waves gently rolling in behind me, I felt completely at ease. The world seemed to slow down the moment my feet touched the shore. This lightweight floral sundress was the perfect choice for the day — its soft, breathable fabric moved with every breeze, and the delicate pastel blooms felt like they belonged right here against the endless blue of the ocean.
